I am Shoaib Daniyal

You know me as the chap who writes your India Fix newsletters.

This year, however, I’m trying something new: an interview podcast.

I’ll speak to newsmakers from around India - and the world. On politics, culture, food and the economy.

My interviews will talk truth to power. No one will be asked how they eat their mangoes.

The conversations will also be geeky - like everything on Scroll.

But I also want to see the human side of the people I speak to.

In short, it will be, as us Calcuttans like to call it, an adda.
